We believe in the importance of being obedient to the Lord in tithing. God supplies 100% of the finances that we have, and it's our responsibility to give 10% back to Him. One of many places that we see the truth of this is out of the book of Malachi...

Malachi 3:10, ESV “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Not only do we believe in God's command to tithe, but we also encourage people to give over and above their tithe in whatever way and amount God would lead to you give. It's a blessing to give to God and He always blesses in one way or another. We see this truth out of 2 Corinthians...

2 Corinthians 9:7, ESV “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
